:  “Inspirational Project Leadership – It is more than managing scope, cost and schedule”
Abstract: There are numerous organizational models which define leadership skills. All these models have two common components. We will look at how these two core skills are derived and the qualities one needs to become an inspirational leader versus a project manager. Mr. Cameron will base his talk and discussion on his experiences throughout his career and the analysis of what it takes to successfully manage projects.

Bio: Cameron received a B.S.C. in 1970 and an M.S.C., in Civil Engineering, both from Iowa State University. Throughout the past 40 years Cameron has performed a variety of engineering, technology, and management roles at Procter & Gamble Company.  Starting as an Environment Control Engineer, he later served as a Soap Sector Project Management Section Head, Assistant to the Vice-President of Worldwide Engineering, and Snacks & Beverage Businesses - Capital Systems Manager.  He is currently a Global Process Owner – Capital Management, Corporate Engineering. In this role, Cameron is responsible, among other things, for the development of project managers at P&G.  His Professional Affiliations include the Construction Industry Institute (CII) Implementation Team, Requirements Based Cost Modeling System Technical Advisory Board, Southwest Ohio Project Management Institute (PMI) Executive Advisory Board, and NASA Academy of Program and Project Leadership Training Board of Directors.
